A Contractor's Compensation Event Notification (CNCE) is a communication issued by the Contractor to notify the Project manager of a compensation event. This form is issued as soon as the Contractor becomes aware of an event which has happened or is going to happen, which the Contractor believes is a compensation event and the Project Manager has not already notified the Contractor of the event.

As a result of the CNCE, a Project Manager's Reply to a Contractor's Compensation Event Notification (PMRN) is generated automatically by AssetWise CONNECT Edition.

A CNCE may be sent for an internal review.

Additional objects may be associated with a CNCE, such as communications, documents, and files.

The CNCE follows a three stage workflow: Initiate > Review > Issue.
